The number 70 jersey is a symbol of Jogo Bonito in the K League 1, and Anderson Oliveira has definitely proven it. His debut at Suwon FC was brilliant, and now he is the key player for one of the league's top teams, FC Seoul.

The midfielder is experiencing his second season in South Korea and has racked up some impressive stats: 67 games, 13 goals, and 21 assists—proving his knack for setting up goals is his special talent. On the pitch, Anderson has provided a contrasting rhythm to the fast-paced, high-tempo style of play in Korea, which has a strong Premier League influence, a challenge for outstanding players trying to bring a sense of art into the game.

Over the past year, he has traveled to the country's various World Cup stadiums, from Seoul to Jeju. The experience has shown him a style of soccer that's very different from what he encountered while playing in Brazil with Londrina and Goiás, and in Portugal with Portimonense

Suwon: the signature

Anderson's journey began on the streets of Sinop, Mato Grosso, a place where he first dreamed of playing the beautiful game.

Since arriving at Suwon FC, he has showcased his vision on the field. With a natural ability to use both feet, make precise long passes, and deliver goal-scoring assists, he quickly earned recognition as a true leader. His charismatic style and his ability to connect with his teammates have made him an essential player for the team.

These exceptional qualities haven't gone unnoticed by the experts of the K League 1 or the coaching staff. In August 2024, Anderson was named the K League 1 Player of the Month, a well-deserved recognition for his impressive 17 goal involvements (five goals and 12 assists). At just 24 years old, he has already written his first golden chapter in Korean football.
